The Global Mobility Solutions (GMS) division of Fleet Logistics has made a charitable donation to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in recognition of the outstanding work the charity carries out.

As an international team spanning multiple countries, the GMS unit have not been able to meet face to face during the pandemic. In lieu of an end of year celebration, a donation was made as a thank you for the team’s efforts during COVID-19.

GMS voted unanimously in favour of a charitable donation being made. Everyone was able to have their say and team members were asked to nominate charities which were then put to a final vote.

The WWF, the world’s leading conservation organization which works in nearly 100 countries to develop and deliver innovative solutions that protect communities, wildlife, and the places in which they live, was the chosen charity.

Head of GMS, Thibault Alleyn, said: “During the pandemic many of us have realised how important nature is for our wellbeing and how connecting with nature, whether in a city or in the countryside, can benefit our mental and physical health.

“We are all more conscious than ever of how we can reduce the impact that we are having on the planet.

“We are clearly a team of nature lovers and believe small steps can make a big difference! As the team responsible for consulting and reporting, a lot of our efforts are focused on sustainability and emissions reporting, as we support our clients’ journey to net zero. Like our clients we are focused on doing what we can to help restore our planet.

“So, we thought the World Wildlife Fund was a very fitting home for our donation and we hope they can put it to good use in the outstanding work that they carry out,” he said.
