Electric vehicles hit record market share, says JATO

Electric vehicles accounted for a record market share of 18% of all European passenger cars sold in July, while the negative effect of the pandemic continued to ease, with total volumes of new cars sold across Europe down by just 4% year on year.

EVs to make up a third of global sales by 2030

Accountancy firm Deloitte has predicted that sales of electric vehicles (EVs) will reach 31.1 million by 2030, 10 million more than it originally forecast, while sales of petrol and diesel cars may already have reached their peak during the course of the current pandemic.

Fleet Logistics Group creates new Global Mobility Solutions business

Fleet Logistics Group, Europe's largest independent fleet management company, has created a new Global Mobility Solutions unit, headed up by Thibault Alleyn (pictured) that will engage with fleet customers on the issues of cost effectiveness, sustainability and electrification, and corporate mobility alternatives.

Fleet Europe Summit goes virtual!

This year’s Fleet Europe Summit on November 17 and 18 will be held online, rather than as a physical event – and Fleet Logistics will once again be involved. Registration for the event opened on 7 September.

ACEA confirms growing switch to EVs

Growing interest in and sales of electric vehicles have been confirmed by the latest figures from ACEA which show that EVs took a 7.2% share of all European new car sales in the second quarter of this year.
