Fleet Logistics appoints new CEO

Steffen Schick (53) has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Fleet Logistics Group, Europe's largest independent fleet management company.

EC urged to consider role for alternative fuels in future transport policy

The European Commission is being urged to consider the role that alternative fuels such as biofuels and LPG can play in developing a low carbon transport policy for the future and helping the transition from carbon to electric power. The call comes from a broad coalition of vehicle manufacturers and alternative-fuel producers and suppliers.

FleetVision plans launch of TCMPlus mobility modelling solution

FleetVision, the fleet consultancy arm of Fleet Logistics Group, is planning to launch TCMPlus, a new fleet and mobility modelling and forecasting tool, to take into account the multi-modal forms of employee mobility now available to companies. The new tool will be piloted with a number of carefully selected fleet clients over the coming months, ahead of a full-scale roll-out later in the year.

Euro NCAP announces its safest cars of 2019

Euro NCAP has revealed its safest cars of last year from the new models that earned its top five star ranking for the best safety features during 2019, in what, said the organisation, was an outstanding year for safety features.

Netherlands, Norway and UK best prepared for EVs

The Netherlands, Norway and the United Kingdom are the best prepared countries in Europe for the electric vehicle (EV) revolution, according to new research which explored the preparedness of European countries for mass adoption of EVs.
