Many UK businesses are embarking on an electric route for the first time, which opens up a whole new experience of charging a company car.

The UK electric vehicle (EV) market has reached a tipping point and UK businesses have never been better placed to review their transition to EVs and grasp the opportunity to take advantage of all grants while still available.

The movement to electric vehicles is gathering pace across Europe, with market share for battery electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) models rising month on month.

However, knowing how to efficiently drive EVs and how to get the most from the driving experience, can really help overcome barriers to usage, such as range anxiety, and also reduce fuel costs.

The highly popular German fleet show, “Flotte – der Branchentreff” (Fleet! The industry get-together), returns next month at the Messe Düsseldorf – and Fleet Logistics will be exhibiting.

Despite strong growth in EV charging infrastructure since 2014, the total number of charging points available across the entire EU at less than 225,00 falls far short of what is required to meet carbon reduction targets.
